How do we visualise audio, how do we experience and “see“ the effects of sound? How do audio and film cooperate? What if, our sound and video track were to almost merge?

I chose to use an oscilloscope to visualise audio frequencies. By viewing audio as an analog input in an oscilloscope, we see how it is composed, all the different levels in current together make an distinguisable sound. By using this image humans can instantly distinguish different volume levels and sounds. When someone in solitary confinement lets out an almost primal scream, we not only experience it through sound but also through vision. The oscilloscope borders then ampllify the feeling of isolation and confinement.
